February 24, 2026 marks four years since russia launched its unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine
Prior to the full-scale invasion, Ukraine had already endured eight years of war – marking twelve years of resilience,
courage, and unwavering fight for freedom.
We invite you to join us for a commemorative rally to stand together in unity, to honour those who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine,
and to once again call on the world for continued action and support
The evening will include:
1. Remarks by government representatives and community leaders.
2. A short video reflecting on the full-scale invasion.
3. A moment of silence with candles for the fallen
4. An excerpt performed by Axios Men’s Ensemble.
5. The Ukrainian and Canadian anthems.
Event Details:
Date: Tuesday, February 24, 2026
Time: program begins at 7:00 PM
Location: in front of the Alberta Legislature building (not above on the plaza).
During the event, we will be collecting donations (cash or e-transfer) in support of Ukrainian causes defending
Ukraine and aiding those affected by the war. Exact cause is yet to be determined.

24 лютого 2026 року – чотири роки від початку повномасштабного вторгнення росії в Україну .
А до цього Україна вже пережила вісім років війни – разом це дванадцять років стійкості, спротиву, боротьби та
незламності українського народу.
Закликаємо всіх долучитися до глобального мітингу, щоб разом вшанувати загиблих, підтримати Україну та знову закликати світ до дій.
У програмі заходу:
1.Виступи урядових представників та лідерів громади.
2. Коротке відео про повномасштабне вторгнення.
3.Хвилина мовчання та демонстрація зі свічками за загиблих.
4.Уривок реквієму у виконанні Axios Men’s Ensemble.
5.Також гімни України та Канади.

Місце: навпроти Alberta Legislature Building (не зверху на плазі).
Під час заходу буде організовано збір пожертв (готівкою або e-transfer) на підтримку України.
